Ludo Hekman is a journalist, specialized in translating complex issues into thought provoking concepts and stories alike. He worked for print, online and TV in countries like Iran, Irak and Afghanistan.

He is one of the founders of Lighthouse Reports, a media non-profit based in Amsterdam. They create newsrooms around topics. These temporary newsrooms are all about learning new techniques, pooling knowledge and tackling the kind of complex, ambitious stories that benefit from a team approach.

As a creative producer he started many innovative and meaningful collaborations and has a good sense for the opportunities of emerging technologies.
